About Us

CureReba initiatives is dedicated to empowering tribal communities in India through health, education, and sustainable development.

What We Are

The CureReba Initiatives for Tribal Health and Development Foundation is a Section 8, pan-India non-profit organization, recognized by the Government of India and established in the year 2025. It was conceived through the collective vision of three passionate professionals—distinguished leaders in the domains of Public Health, Education, and Agriculture & Social Development. The genesis of the organization lies in the vision known as “TYM: Three Young Minds, One Mission,” a shared commitment to innovation, impact, and transformative change.

Rooted deeply in their tribal heritage, these visionaries discerned the urgent need for intervention in the lives of India’s tribal populations. Thus, they joined hands to forge a movement grounded in empathy and action. The name CureReba is derived from “Cure through Research and Evidence-based Action,” symbolizing the organization’s foundational principle—solving systemic challenges through knowledge, inquiry, and practical solutions.

Moved by the persistent challenges in healthcare, education, and social equity, CureReba set forth to bring about sustainable and meaningful transformation. The Foundation places particular emphasis on maternal and child health, early childhood development, and the reduction of healthcare disparities. Working steadfastly at the grassroots level, it empowers tribal communities across ten aspirational districts as identified by NITI Aayog in the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand.

Operating under the aegis of the CureReba Foundation for Health and Development, the Initiative is especially devoted to the holistic upliftment of India’s Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). These efforts focus on the tribal populations of Chhattisgarh, particularly the Baiga, Kamar, Abujhmaria, Birhor, and Pahari Korwa communities—among the most marginalized and isolated peoples in the nation.

These communities endure multifaceted adversities: entrenched poverty, conflict-ridden geographies, geographical remoteness, high disease burdens, malnutrition, and scarce access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. In response, CureReba has prioritized the comprehensive development of the Kamar and Abujhmaria communities within the Bastar region. Through integrated interventions in health, education, nutrition, livelihood, and social empowerment, the Foundation aims to foster dignity, resilience, and long-term sustainability among these underserved groups.

All our efforts are firmly anchored in the guiding philosophy of “Nurturing a Healthy Tribal Society.” Our approach is community-driven and culturally attuned, ensuring that development is both respectful and responsive to the unique needs of tribal populations.

At the heart of CureReba lies a deeper belief—that selfless service to humanity is the truest form of spiritual wealth. In Hindu philosophy, this goodwill is referred to as “Punya”—the Currency of Heaven, carried forward into the next life. Indeed, such service not only transforms society but also enriches the soul, bestowing peace, contentment, and the blessings of the Almighty. It is through this sacred duty that we aspire to live lives of purpose, fulfillment, and divine grace
